Hello

I step into the role of Executive Director with deep gratitude and a strong sense of purpose. From the moment I walked through our doors, I knew I was entering into something sacred, three decades of love, service, and life-changing impact poured out by this community.

This organization has been built by countless staff, volunteers, donors, ambassadors, and members of our community. You have built a legacy that has touched thousands of women, children, and families across the Metro East. As I reflect on my first year, my heart overflows with gratitude for your partnership, your prayers, your generosity, and your steadfast belief in the value of every life.

Together, we have continued this mission with clarity and compassion. We have welcomed women who are scared, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn, and we have walked beside them with real, tangible support: free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STD testing, education, resources, and the kind of personalized care that reminds every woman “You are not alone.” We also recognized something important: our community is changing. Women are navigating new pressures, new fears, and new cultural messages. If we want to continue reaching them effectively, we must grow, evolve, and strengthen the way we serve.

With excitement and careful intention, we are stepping boldly into our next chapter. Introducing Vitality Women’s Clinic. While we move forward with purpose, we also take time to honor the past and recognize the efforts of so many incredible people who have impacted our community for good.

- Jackie Duty, Executive Director

Our History

A Legacy of Hope. A Future of Vitality.

For more than 30 years, this organization has been a trusted place of hope, compassion, and life-affirming care for women and families across the Metro East region. Rooted in faith and driven by love, our organization has continually evolved to meet the needs of our community—without ever losing sight of the value of every life.

Where It All Began

Our journey began on June 28, 1994, when Founder Karen Pilger opened the doors to Arms of Love. From the very beginning, the mission was clear: to walk alongside women facing unplanned pregnancies with compassion, truth, and support.

As the needs of women and families grew, so did the organization.

A Season of Growth

Becoming Options Now

Under the leadership of Executive Director Ron Wenzel, Arms of Love evolved into Options Now, expanding services and strengthening its role as a trusted, life-affirming resource in the Metro East community.

Leadership later transitioned to Executive Director Trudy Bodenbach, who continued building a strong foundation—focusing on excellence in care, operational stability, and long-term impact.

Expanding Our Reach

ThriVe Metro East

A new chapter emerged when Cara Paschal stepped into the role of Executive Director. During this season, the organization entered an affiliate agreement with ThriVe Nation and became known as ThriVe Metro East.

This period marked expanded services, increased community presence, and deeper outreach to women and families navigating complex decisions.

A New Chapter Begins

Leadership for the Future

Today, under the leadership of Executive Director Jackie Duty, ThriVe Metro East is stepping boldly into the future.

With an eye toward strategic growth, innovation, and hyper-local community impact, this next season is focused on expanding services, strengthening partnerships, and meeting women where they are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Each leadership transition has built upon the vision of those who came before, positioning the organization to grow stronger with every chapter.

Looking Ahead

The Same Mission. An Expanded Vision.

While our mission remains the same—to empower women, save lives, and strengthen families—our vision has expanded to meet the growing needs of our community.

Beginning January 1, 2026, we officially transitioned to our new name:

Vitality Women’s Clinic

A name that reflects life, strength, and renewed purpose.

Why the Change?

Vitality represents growth, resilience, and life—everything our mission embodies. It marks a renewed energy for the next chapter of our organization as a holistic, faith-driven, life-affirming women’s clinic.

This transition allows us to:

  • Reach more women through expanded medical services and wellness programs

  • Strengthen our identity as a local, independent clinic rooted in the Metro East

  • Broaden our impact through new partnerships, outreach, and technology-driven support

  • Continue offering free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and life-affirming care while expanding into additional areas of women’s health and family wellness

The Meaning Behind Our Logo

Our Vitality Women’s Clinic logo tells a powerful story:

  • The Heart
An open heart symbolizing compassion, care, and love.

  • The Heartbeat Line
A vital sign monitor representing the viability of life and the steady rhythm of hope.

  • Vitality
Derived from the Latin word meaning “life,” reflecting strength, energy, and resilience—the heartbeat of our mission and the essence of womanhood.

Our Promise

Moving Forward Together

While our name is changing, our heart is not.

We remain fully committed to providing compassionate, confidential, and professional care rooted in faith and respect for life. Every woman who walks through our doors will continue to be met with dignity, understanding, and unwavering support.

Together, we are stepping into a new era—one filled with vitality, vision, and hope for generations to come.
